Career as a C.A.


The Chartered Accountants are entrusted with substantial responsibility under various legislations such as compulsory audit of the all companies, banks, stock brokers, big income-tax assesses, large bank borrowers, etc. This shows the confidence and trust reposed by the Government and society in the profession.
You will note that the profession of a C.A. is almost free from the vagaries of the economy-a CA's services are needed in good times as well as bad times. a professionally competent CA is always in great demand. While career growth may vary depending on the job content and the nature of the organisation, consistently good performance will fetch good returns and steady growth.
The requirements for becoming a chartered accountant are as follows;
Level One: Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
CPT is a objective type test requiring basis knowledge of the subjects covered. CPT is held two times ina year: June and December. CPT can be given online also.
Level Two: Integrated Professional Competence Course(IPCC) & Practical Training
A student who has passed the CPT and 12th standard examination may join the IPCC.
Level Three: C.A. Final Course
Apper in Final Exam During last six months of completing Articleship Training of 3 years. A student will have to secure 50% markds in aggreagate and 40% in each of the individual subjects in Final.

C.A. Earning: Entry-level salaries vary widely from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 80,000 a month depending on the size & requirements of the organization.
